Very nice, only a few problems Great program - It's amazing how simple they made the interface for beginners. Huge, colorful buttons are extremely obvious as to what they most likely do - such as, a huge red circle which means "Record". Also, the options box is very simple as well. There's separate options for video and audio. My only gripe is that there's no option to record the audio from the speakers, which I have seen in other programs like this. Very nice piece of work. It loaded, it worked, it saved as expected right off -- without having the manual. This will be ideal for someone who needs a foolproof way to capture a video for immediate use on the web.

I have tried it on my laptop 1.8 ghz, but Debut VC is so slow. Using the webcam, I get about 15 fps but using device (a hooked vcr), I only get 1-2 fps. I did not hear any sound also. I am not sure whether it\'s Debut VC or my laptop that is not working correctly. For some reason I could not achieve a recording with sound. I am using Windows 7 and have had no problems with sound on anything else. I followed all the troubleshooting tips but to no avail. I have therefore had to uninstall it and use another, albeit somethat inferior, program.

I am very disappointed. The resulted avi is to big. Also, it take to much time to process the primary data.

I have no experience with any screen-recording software but this one worked very well and easily. Just the final size of the recorded files is too huge...Dalibor

I make Movies about a game called San Andreas Multiplayer and When Im recording it only shows a little bit of the game I don't know if its a problem of that program because hypercam 2 its the same Problem I dont know... Trouble with end video. The program is easy to use but I can not record streaming video without the end result being very choppy. I tried using all codes. If I could get this issue resolved I might think about buying the software.

I had tested eyeline 1.0 and it was working fine but when I downloaded Eyeline 1.02 it has been trouble eversince. The performance is very erratic and unpredictable. It gives error and freezes very often.

I have the First Alert (not sure witch model)usbcam the software was unable to see it prob cause i no longer have the driver disk for it so i was using windows drivers so that didn't work

So far it looks the best to suit my needs, except for one option. Recording the motion video and for how long it keeps recording.... I tried to do some "motion" recording, but it did record even instances without noticeable motion. If I could fix this option, then this is , so far, the best for home surveillance, even compared to shared use applications of a similar kind. What I need is... to restrict the time of recording motion after it has taken place(say 5-10 secs, and stop recording. Thanx, Eric
